Weekend Wheel Throwing Taster (2Hrs)
Curious about wheel throwing? This fun 2-hour workshop is the perfect way to give the pottery wheel a spin — no experience required!
Our friendly instructor will guide you step by step through centering, shaping, and (maybe) even mastering those wobbles as you create your very own piece of pottery. With a maximum of 8 people, you’ll enjoy a small group setting with plenty of guidance and time on the wheel.
Come solo, bring a friend, or make it a date with a difference — either way, you’ll have fun, get a little messy, and tap into your creative side.
You’ll learn the basics of wheel throwing and get to keep two of your pieces, which we’ll trim, glaze and fire for you. All materials are provided, so all you need to bring is your curiosity (and clothes you don’t mind getting a bit messy).

Ready to kick off your weekend? In this fun, no - pressure 2.5 hour session, you’ll have a go at wheel throwing while enjoying complimentary drinks & snacks (yes - it’s as fun as it sounds).
Our friendly instructor will guide you step by step - whether you are shaping your first bowl or just here for the laughs and good times. No experience? No problem. It’s all about having fun and giving it a go.
And the best part? We’ll take care of all the clean up - you just show up, sip, snack, spin and step into your weekend!
You’ll even get to keep two of your creations - we’ll trim, glaze & fire them for you.

6 Week Wheel Workshops
This course will immerse you in the world of wheel-thrown pottery and guide you through the fundamentals of working on the wheel. You’ll learn how to centre clay, create simple forms such as cylinders, bowls and plates, and dive into trimming and glazing techniques.
Perfect for complete beginners — or for anyone who tried our taster session and loved it! With only seven spots available, the class stays small, supportive and hands-on.
And as a bonus, participants who complete our beginner course will receive first access to our exclusive Studio Dirt Club sessions for ongoing making and practice.

For The Love of Food - A Hand Building Course
Discover the art of clay in this 4-week pottery handbuilding course, perfect for beginners and anyone looking to explore their creativity. $450 per person.
Over the duration of the course, you’ll learn essential techniques including slab rolling, draping, glazing, and finishing, guiding you step-by-step through the process of creating your own unique ceramic pieces.
By the end of the course, you’ll have crafted and completed a beautiful set of four - six handmade bowls—functional, personal, and entirely one of a kind.
Along the way, you’ll build confidence working with clay in a relaxed, supportive environment while developing foundational skills you can build on.

For The Love of Food - A Hand Building Series
Join us for our first class in this new series we are offering.
PART ONE - Charcuterie Platter
A thoughtfully hosted clay experience for those who love beautiful objects and good food. In this intimate hand building class, you’ll create one bespoke ceramic charcuterie platter, designed for generous spreads and slow gatherings.
Studio Dirt will complete all finishing and firing, glazing your piece in your choice of any of our studio glazes.
No experience needed, perfect for beginners.

PART TWO - Garlic grater & herb stripper
In this beginner-friendly pottery project, you’ll create your own garlic stripper and herb grater—combining form, texture, and everyday function.
Perfect for those new to clay, you’ll learn simple handbuilding techniques to shape your piece and add a textured surface for grating.
Once complete, Studio Dirt will take care of the glazing and finishing, ensuring a beautiful, food-safe result.
You’ll leave with a unique, handcrafted kitchen tool that’s both practical and personal.
